Agreement

By using Catch you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the app. Catch is made and published by Nate Tedesco, an individual developer — "I" and "me" mean him, and "you" means you.

Your licence to use the app

You get a personal, non-transferable licence to use Catch on Apple devices you own or control, under Apple's Licensed Application End User Licence Agreement, which applies to this app and which these terms sit on top of. Don't redistribute, resell, or reverse-engineer the app, except where the law says you may regardless of what this paragraph says.

Purchases and refunds

Catch offers Catch Pro, a subscription. The price is shown by Apple before you confirm, in your own currency. It renews automatically until you cancel it, and you can cancel any time in your Apple Account settings — cancelling stops the next renewal and leaves your current period intact. The purchase is tied to your Apple Account, so it restores on any device signed in to it.

Refunds are handled by Apple, not by me. I can't issue one, because I never receive the payment. Request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com. If you think something is broken, email me first — a bug I can fix is a better outcome than a refund.

Accuracy of the information in the app

Catch displays data from third parties (Apple Speech Recognition, The website you link to). I don't produce that data, I can't guarantee it, and I have no control over whether it is available or correct. Everything the app shows is provided as-is, for general information. It can be wrong, out of date, or missing entirely.

Acceptable use

Use the app lawfully. Don't attempt to break it, overload the services it depends on, or use it in a way that interferes with anyone else's use of it.

No warranty

Catch is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied. I don't promise it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose. Some jurisdictions don't allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so parts of this may not apply to you.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, I am not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of Catch. Where liability can't be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the app.

Changes and availability

I may update Catch, change what it does, or stop offering it. I may also update these terms; if I do, the date at the top of this page changes. Continuing to use the app after that means you accept the updated terms.

Apple

Apple is not a party to these terms and has no responsibility for Catch or for providing support for it. Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these terms and may enforce them against you.
